Wireless debugging cannot connect without WiFi, Quest Game Tuner settings will not apply.

This problem always occurs after sleep mode. Reconnecting to wifi doesn't work, but restarting the machine can solve it.

When the QGO ADB function is red, there will be a retry button that can be clicked to solve the problem.

Do you also have flickering windows when this issue occurs? (The more detail, the better)

I've gotten some more info from users on discord and am actively working on a solution. This issue is especially annoying to replicate, so it may still take a few days for a fix to be ready.

I encountered flickering problems, with diagonal lines of torn flickering light. I adjusted the home environment to "don't tune" to prevent it from happening.

I also encountered the QGT interface closing when adjusting options. When I tried to adjust it through lightning launcher, it would pop up immediately. There was a notification that could not be screenshotted. I forgot the content. It can only be solved by restarting.

This issues is now fixed in 1.5.0

i have a few games that the controlers get remapped. its such a pain to map, return to default, map/default, over and over again every time.  it would be cool to have a remap option in each game tuner settings area, having it return to default on game exit with the rest of the tunings

The auto shutdown feature is kind of iffy for me. Usually, if I put my headset to sleep with the feature enabled, it powers off the next time I wake it up, which is inconvenient. I tested the feature today and it seemed to work properly when the Quest is plugged in while asleep. Is there a setting I need to enable to get it to work consistently, or does the headset always need to be plugged in while sleeping?

I am using QGT 1.4.0 with HorizonOS 71 on a Quest 2. Auto shutdown is set to 15 minutes. I have auto power on for updates disabled. The display off timer is set to one minute, and the sleep timer is set to 15 seconds after displays turn off. In all of these tests, I put the headset to sleep manually with the button.

I paid for key twice but it was never sent to my email feeling ripped off

Itch.io handles the distribution of keys. If you're not getting an email from itch.io, you may need to contact them. Still, I can try to help you and/or refund the duplicate purchase if you get in touch on discord.

Your email seems to be publicly viewable as your itch.io username. (Is this intentional?) I just checked, and that email isn't associated with any purchase for this product.

.money is out of my account have transaction numbers

For your privacy, itch.io doesn't let me view transaction numbers, only the email associated with the purchase (and your email is not associated with any purchase)

If you would like further help from me, you need to contact me privately. I can't help you more without identifying information, and this is a public forum. Please go to https://itch.io/support and select "email the developer" to get in touch with me, or contact itch.io for help with the payment.

Any trick to restart the Home app after applyng changes? I think your competence have a button for that but I dont remember.

And I want to report a translation in the Help menu / Tuning Profiles tab. I think the second option should say "Dont tune" instead "Use default settings"

Nice app btw

Resolution doesn't make a noticeable difference in the Home app.

Every other tuning setting applies immediately when it's set - No restart required!

Good eye on the typo, will fix in the next update.

Whenever I try and uncap Powerwash Sim to 90fps (it locks to 45fps by default) it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas ?

Powerwash Sim uses a technology called Asynchronous Space Warp (ASW).

The game internally runs at half the visible framerate to improve performance. To see your actual framerate, you can set the OVR Metrics tool to "Advanced" and check "ASW FPS" - you're actually getting 90 already!

If you want to push further, you can always target a higher framerate :)

It is pretty essential for a notification to be sent or something to notify the user when launching a game that QGT was applied.

It would be nice to have the ability to define a custom DNS for the adblocking.

Is there a Discord Server for this product?

If not is there a plan to have one for one on one support and discussion?

Why choose Quest Game Tuner over Quest Games Optimizer?

I can't find anyone doing a comparison anywhere online. QGT is just too new I guess. Got my Quest a few days ago and found out about both.

Can resolution and foveation be set individually for each eye? I have weak eyesight in one eye, and it would be cool if my Quest would use less power by rendering at a lower resolution for that eye.

That's a great idea, but sadly not possible. Meta would need to add support on a system level.
